Citi Celebrates Earth Hour 2015

EarthHour2015
On Saturday, March 28th, Citi showed its support for environmental sustainability by participating in Earth Hour for the eighth consecutive year. To mark Earth Hour, individuals, businesses, governments and communities around the world are invited to turn out their lights for one hour at 8:30 p.m. local time. This year, Citi turned off non-essential lights in 3,059 of its office facilities and branches in a record 98 countries and 1,151 cities.
Each year, Citi's Realty Services group coordinates and mobilizes Citi's Earth Hour participation. This year, Citi sites in Cairo, Bogota, Cape Town, Hong Kong, New York, Rio de Janeiro, London and Singapore were among those that switched off their lights.
I am very proud of the employee engagement around our Citi Realty Services sustainability initiatives. Employee participation is critical to the success of any sustainability program and Citi Realty Services employees continue to demonstrate their commitment to the importance of sustainability initiatives.
