Corruption self by sirkendokelvin

Corruption self examination!!!

- If you usually put more sugar in your tea when in a hotel than you do at home, You're likely to be corrupt?

- If you use more tissue in a public washroom than you do at home, you are a potential thief if given opportunity.

- If you serve yourself more food than you can finish just because someone else is footing the bill, you're greedy.

- If you usually jump queues, you have potential for abusing office if given a powerful position.

- If you are more concerned about knowing someone's surname rather than first name, you're likely to be a tribal bigot. Its even worse when someone tells you their name & then you ask, "which tribe is that?"

- If you usually overlap while in traffic jam or have no regard for traffic lights, then you would easily embezzle public funds if you're given a position at a public office since you hate regulation .

- If you channel waste or dirty water from your compound to a neighbour's compound rather than managing it, you're ill-mannered.

If you look at this post and wonder whether it was really necessary to talk about these issues; then you are very dishonest and you would easily cover up ills in the society for your own benefit.

Let us try to be people of character wherever we find ourselves.

Unprecedented testimony

"This is our month of unprecedented testimonies. " -COL GEOFF ONYEJEGBU PhD
Senatorial Aspirant Anambra South

It my my pleasure to reach out to us this morning, to express to us how much important we are to each other. So this very moment, I have a very special package for us. *Happy new Month, I mean.*

May the love and Joy of the Lord, fill our life and may our day be filled with Joy.

We are  friends and I won't allow this moment pass without me taking my own part in your life: for this reason, May the success that has no equal descend upon us and may the success that gathers muscle flood our homes without any compromise.

Indeed, it's good to always remember that, without God in our lives, there's just nothing we can do. So For this reason, I pray that the Lord draws us closer to Himself, to purify us with His light, I ask He picks us out from any form of darkness and place us in light. Our hand shall not reach the base of our pocket.

It's not really easy to scale through this journey of thousand miles but, because we have taken a step, the Glory of God Almighty will rest upon our paths.

Don't forget that you will never regret supporting the right choice, Col GEOFF for senate is a Collective project for all constitent in Anambra South.

The new month of Joy and *Unprecedented Testimonies* is here and I decree that no principality and power shall  take it from us.

Let's continue the good work, for we are almost there.

Ahead!!!  Ahead!!!  Ndi Nkem.

Oduah's supreme court victory

*Oduah's Supreme Court Victory: A Confirmation of Appeal Court Injustice on Ekwunife, Anambra Central*

By *Kingsley Chukwuemeka Ubani*

Yesterday, Friday, the Supreme Court of Nigeria declared Senator Stella Oduah winner of the December 2014 PDP Senatorial primaries after it looked at a case brought to it by one of the Aspirants, Margaret Okadigbo, contesting the emergence of the Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial zone in the Party Primary election.

Oduah's victory again brings to question, the veracity of Justice in the Judgment of the Appeal Court, nullifying Senator Uche Ekwunife's election to the Senate.

Recall that AD Yahaya, Awotolo and Sanga - Justices of the Appeal Court while sitting on a case brought to it by the then candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Victor Umeh challenging the 2015 Senatorial Election for Anambra Central Senatorial zone, nullified Senator Ekwunife's election on December 2015.

It is on record that Ekwunife, who represented Anambra Central Senatorial zone between June and December 2015, in her brief stay served as Chairman Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream.

The Senate committee on Petroleum Downstream is one of the prominent standing committees in the Senate. The committee oversights many powerful agencies in the downstream sector. These agencies, their subsidiaries and the viability of the sector form the lifeline of many businesses in the Nigerian economy, sustaining and creating thousands of jobs annually.

Also recall that Anambra central was the first zone in the south-east to Chair the Petroleum Downstream committee. So Indeed, it was a big blow as the people of Anambra central and Anambra state lost their grip on this position which is presently being occupied by a northerner - a situation any politically aware individual would consider unfortunate.

Senator Oduah's case was challenged on the same basis as that of Ekwunife, bringing to question the quality and consistency of our Judges and Nigeria's Judicial system, noting that the unfortunate Judgment and its reactive litigations not only denied the zone a chance of heading the petroleum downstream committee but equally left the zone without a representative at the red chamber for close to three years.
